Start by flattening your chicken breasts. This helps them cook evenly. You can use a meat mallet or a rolling pin.
In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Reserve a tablespoon of the marinade for drizzling later.
Place your chicken in the marinade, making sure it’s fully coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Get your grill nice and hot. Aim for medium-high heat.
Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
