4 slices of bread
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
softened
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
- Add two slices of cheddar cheese on top of the bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, then flip carefully and cook the other side.
- Once both sides are crispy and the cheese is melted, remove from heat and slice in half.
