1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
1 ripe banana
2 large eggs
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped walnuts
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a food processor, combine the black beans and banana. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract, then blend again until well incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in the food processor and blend until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased or lined 8×8 inch baking dish. Optionally, sprinkle chocolate chips or walnuts on top.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are firm and there's a slight jiggle in the center. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
