4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup marinara sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
12 slider buns
Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
If your chicken breasts are thick, pound them gently until about ½ inch thick.
Set up a breading station with flour (mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder), whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Dip each chicken breast in flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
