Ingredients

1 Box vanilla cake mix

⅓ Cup vegetable oil
2 Cups icing sugar
for rolling and dusting
2 eggs
food coloring gel
in orange
black and purple
monster eye candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
- Divide the dough into three separate bowls and add food coloring gel to each bowl to create orange, black, and purple hues.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of each colored dough and roll them into balls.
- Roll each ball in icing sugar until well-coated.
- Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow to cool slightly and then press monster eye candies into the center of each cookie while still warm.
- Let cookies cool completely before serving.
Notes
