Description
Halloween Swirl Cream Cheese Brownies feature rich chocolate brownies swirled with creamy, tangy cream cheese for a festive and delicious treat.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: orange and black food coloring
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
3. In a bowl, mix melted butter and 2 cups sugar.
4. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
5. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla until smooth.
7. Pour half brownie batter into pan.
8. Drop cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls over batter.
9. Add remaining brownie batter in dollops.
10. Use a knife to swirl the mixtures together.
11. Optional: add drops of orange and black food coloring in the cream cheese and swirl.
12. Bake 35-40 minutes until set.
13. Cool completely before cutting and serving.
Notes
Use a toothpick to test doneness.
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days.
Add Halloween sprinkles on top for extra festivity.
