Ingredients
2 cups raw almonds
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Spread almonds on a baking sheet and toast for 10-12 minutes until fragrant. Let cool slightly.
3. Transfer almonds to a food processor. Process for about 10-15 minutes, scraping down sides as needed.
4. Continue blending until the almonds turn creamy and smooth.
5. Add salt and sweetener if desired, then blend briefly to mix.
6. Store almond butter in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Use raw or dry-roasted almonds based on your preference.
For chunkier butter, pulse a few times at the end.
Add cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor.
