1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
1 lb breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
2 cups milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the breakfast sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir well. Gradually pour in the milk while mixing to avoid lumps. Stir until the mixture thickens (5-7 minutes), then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cut each biscuit into quarters.
In a large bowl, combine biscuit pieces, sausage gravy, and half of the cheddar cheese. Fold until the biscuits are coated.
Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
Whisk together the eggs and the remaining milk, then pour evenly over the casserole.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
