  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the breakfast sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir well. Gradually pour in the milk while mixing to avoid lumps. Stir until the mixture thickens (5-7 minutes), then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  • In a large bowl, combine biscuit pieces, sausage gravy, and half of the cheddar cheese. Fold until the biscuits are coated.
  • Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  • Whisk together the eggs and the remaining milk, then pour evenly over the casserole.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
