3 tbsp plain yogurt

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp garlic paste

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Salt to taste

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup tomato purée

1/2 cup heavy cream

Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin, coriander, paprika, chili flakes, and salt.

2. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions until golden.

4. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.

5. Pour in tomato purée. Stir and cook for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

6. Lower heat and add heavy cream. Stir and simmer for another 5 minutes.

7. Garnish with chopped cilantro.

8. Serve hot with rice or naan.
