Description
Bold, slightly sweet, and delightfully creamy, this iced espresso drink combines warm brown sugar, cinnamon, and smooth oat milk for a barista-level treat at home.
Ingredients
-
2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)
-
2 tbsp brown sugar (light or dark)
-
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1/2 cup oat milk (unsweetened preferred)
-
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
-
Ice cubes
Instructions
-
Make syrup: In a small glass or shaker, combine espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla (if using). Stir until sugar dissolves.
-
Shake it up: Add ice to a cocktail shaker or sealed jar. Pour in the sweetened espresso and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
-
Assemble drink: Fill a glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso over the ice.
-
Top & serve: Pour oat milk over the top. Stir and enjoy chilled.
Notes
-
Adjust sweetness by using more or less brown sugar.
-
For a stronger coffee kick, add an extra shot of espresso.
-
Oat milk froths well—try shaking it in too for extra creaminess.
-
Cinnamon can be skipped or replaced with nutmeg for variation.
