  • Author: amelia
  • Total Time: 4 minute
  • Yield: 1 servings 1x

Description

Bold, slightly sweet, and delightfully creamy, this iced espresso drink combines warm brown sugar, cinnamon, and smooth oat milk for a barista-level treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (light or dark)

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup oat milk (unsweetened preferred)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Make syrup: In a small glass or shaker, combine espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla (if using). Stir until sugar dissolves.

  • Shake it up: Add ice to a cocktail shaker or sealed jar. Pour in the sweetened espresso and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.

  • Assemble drink: Fill a glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso over the ice.

  • Top & serve: Pour oat milk over the top. Stir and enjoy chilled.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by using more or less brown sugar.

  • For a stronger coffee kick, add an extra shot of espresso.

  • Oat milk froths well—try shaking it in too for extra creaminess.

  • Cinnamon can be skipped or replaced with nutmeg for variation.
