1 pound pizza dough

store-bought or homemade

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup cooked Italian sausage

crumbled

1/4 cup sliced ham

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg

beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Layer mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, green bell pepper, and black olives on top of the sauce.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the toppings.
  • Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll the dough over the toppings into a log shape.
  • Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the top with olive oil and make a few slits in the top for steam to escape.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
