Craving Chicken Parmesan but don’t want the hassle? This Lazy Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese combines crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and melty cheese between golden, buttery bread—perfect for a quick lunch or dinner!

- 4 slices bread (sourdough or Italian work best)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- ½ cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil (if using pan-fried chicken)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Bread
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Sprinkle a little garlic powder on the buttered side for extra flavor.
2️⃣ Assemble the Sandwich
- On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer:
✅ Chicken
✅ Marinara sauce
✅ Mozzarella & Parmesan cheese
✅ Italian seasoning - Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
3️⃣ Cook Until Golden & Melty
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Cook each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing down gently until golden brown and crispy.
- Flip and repeat until the cheese is melted.
4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy
- Slice in half and serve hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
