  • Author: Amelia
  • Total Time: 3 minute
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

This buttery, tender lobster tail recipe is simple yet elegant, making it perfect for special occasions or a luxurious dinner at home. Basted in garlic butter and broiled to perfection, it’s a restaurant-quality dish made easy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (46 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster: Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently spread the shell open and lift the meat over the shell while keeping it attached at the base.
2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter: In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3️⃣ Brush & Broil: Preheat the oven broiler to high and line a baking sheet with foil. Place lobster tails on the sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter.
4️⃣ Cook: Broil for 8-12 minutes, depending on size, until the lobster is opaque and slightly golden on top (internal temp: 140°F/60°C).
5️⃣ Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra lemon wedges. Enjoy!

Notes

✔️ For extra flavor, baste with garlic butter halfway through broiling.
✔️ Serve with melted butter, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
✔️ Avoid overcooking—lobster can become tough if left too long under heat.
