Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)

1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper

4 slices thick-cut bacon

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp whiskey

1 tbsp brown sugar

4 burger buns

Optional: cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and crispy onions
Instructions

Cook bacon: In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.

Make glaze: In the same pan, add maple syrup, whiskey, and brown sugar. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Shape and cook patties: Season beef with salt and pepper, shape into 4 patties, and grill or pan-fry to desired doneness.
