Description
This One Pot Kielbasa Pasta recipe combines savory kielbasa sausage with tender pasta and a flavorful sauce for an easy, satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
8 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
2. Add kielbasa slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
4. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
6. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
7. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
8. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Use smoked kielbasa for richer flavor.
Adjust seasoning and cream quantity for desired taste and texture.
Serve with garlic bread or side salad for a full meal.
