Oreo Icebox Cake: A Decadent Treat You Can’t Resist

  • Total Time: 50
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Oreo Icebox Cake is a delightful no-bake dessert that combines layers of creamy whipped filling and chocolatey Oreo cookies for a deliciously simple treat.

Ingredients

Scale

2 (18.25 ounce) family-sized packages Oreo cookies (96 cookies)

3 cups heavy whipping cream

1/3 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

Hot fudge sauce for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  • To assemble the cake, spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture at the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  • Add a layer of Oreo cookies on top of the cream, followed by another layer of whipped cream. Repeat these layers (cookies and cream) until you reach the top of the pan, finishing with a cream layer.
  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  • Before serving, drizzle with hot fudge sauce if desired and cut into slices.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add chocolate or caramel sauce between the layers or top the cake with whipped cream before serving.
