9 lasagna noodles
1 pound of bacon, chopped
3 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups marinara sauce
1 large egg
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil, for cooking
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in the bacon fat until fragrant.
In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup Parmesan, mozzarella, egg, cooked bacon, sautéed garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread marinara sauce. Layer with noodles, half of the cheese mixture, a third of remaining Parmesan, and more marinara.
Repeat layering with noodles, remaining cheese mixture, remaining Parmesan, and marinara. Top with noodles and remaining marinara and Parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
Let rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
