Description

These Party Potatoes are the ultimate comfort food side dish! Creamy, cheesy, and topped with a buttery crunch, they’re perfect for gatherings, potlucks, or anytime you need a guaranteed hit on the table.


Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns, thawed

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 1/2 cup chopped onions

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes + 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix base: In a large bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, soup, cheese, melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper.

  3. Transfer to dish: Spread evenly in a greased 9×13” baking dish.

  4. Add topping: Mix crushed cornflakes with 2 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle over the top.

  5. Bake: Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
