Ingredients

1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup chopped onions

Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes + 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix base: In a large bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, soup, cheese, melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper.

Transfer to dish: Spread evenly in a greased 9×13” baking dish.

Add topping: Mix crushed cornflakes with 2 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle over the top.

Bake: Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
