  • 1 lb flank steak, chopped into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced thinly
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning
  • 1 cup queso dip
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, jalapeños, hot sauce

  • Instructions

  • Pat the flank steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and half of the fajita seasoning.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and let it get hot.
  • Add the steak strips in a single layer, cooking for about 2 minutes without moving, then flip and cook another 2 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet.
  • In the same skillet, add onions and peppers with a pinch of salt and the rest of the fajita seasoning. Sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Return the steak to the skillet, pour in the queso dip, and stir until everything is coated and bubbling.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and admire before serving.
