1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, blend the softened butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Gradually add the yellow cake mix to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes (optional).
