2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup of granulated sugar
½ cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons of red food coloring
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ cup of raspberry jam
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix on low speed just until combined.
Roll the dough into balls about 1-inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, two inches apart.
