  • Author: amelia
  • Total Time: 24 minute
  • Yield: 68 small cups 1x

Description

These layered Jello cups are a visually stunning and refreshing dessert that’s as fun to eat as it is to make. A perfect patriotic treat for summer gatherings, parties, or 4th of July celebrations!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (3 oz) box red Jello (strawberry or cherry)

  • 1 (3 oz) box blue Jello (berry blue)

  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)

  • 2 cups boiling water (1 cup per Jello flavor)

  • 2 cups cold water (1 cup per Jello flavor)

  • Clear plastic cups or dessert glasses

Instructions

  1. Make red layer: Mix red Jello with 1 cup boiling water, then add 1 cup cold water. Pour into cups (1/3 full). Refrigerate until set (about 1 hour).

  2. Add white layer: Spoon whipped topping evenly over the red layer. Smooth gently. Chill for 15–20 minutes.

  3. Make blue layer: Prepare blue Jello the same way as red. Pour on top of the white layer. Chill for another hour or until fully set.

  4. Top & serve: Garnish with more whipped topping and festive sprinkles or berries before serving.

Notes

  • For a cleaner look, pipe whipped topping using a piping bag.

  • Chill each layer fully to avoid colors bleeding into each other.

  • Can be made 1–2 days ahead — just cover and refrigerate.
