These colorful Rice Krispie treats are soft, gooey, and bursting with patriotic flair! Easy to make and even easier to eat, they’re sure to brighten any celebration.
Ingredients

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows

3 tbsp unsalted butter

Red and blue food coloring

Optional: red, white & blue sprinkles
Instructions

Melt base: In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

Divide & color: Split mixture into three bowls. Tint one red, one blue, and leave one white (plain).

Add cereal: Stir 2 cups of cereal into each colored mixture.

Layer: Press each color into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch pan, layering red, white, then blue.

Cool & cut: Let cool completely, then cut into squares. Add sprinkles if desired.

Use a greased spatula or wax paper to press layers evenly.

For extra flavor, stir in a splash of vanilla extract.
