1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet chili seasoning mix
1 cup beef broth (or vegetable broth for a vegetarian version)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
In a large pot over medium heat, add your ground beef. Break it up with a wooden spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if using beef.
Toss in the diced onion and minced garlic, stirring them into the meat. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the can of Rotel, kidney beans, black beans, tomato sauce, chili seasoning mix, and beef broth. Stir everything together gently.
