Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the salmon fillets with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
