  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, oats, both sugars, and salt in a large bowl. Pour in melted butter and stir until combined.
  • Press about two-thirds of the mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  • Peel, core, and slice the apples; toss with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Lay the apple mixture over the crust.
  • Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  • Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture over the top of the apples and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce.
  • Bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before lifting out and cutting into squares.
