1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
3 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp granulated sugar
½ cup salted caramel sauce
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix flour, oats, both sugars, and salt in a large bowl. Pour in melted butter and stir until combined.
Press about two-thirds of the mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Peel, core, and slice the apples; toss with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Lay the apple mixture over the crust.
Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the apples.
Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture over the top of the apples and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce.
Bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool completely before lifting out and cutting into squares.
