6 to 8 large croissants
8 oz. sliced ham or turkey
8 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
6 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Fresh chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice your croissants in half horizontally.
In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, arrange half of the croissant halves cut side up. Layer with half of the sliced ham and half of the shredded Swiss cheese.
Place the remaining croissant halves on top, followed by the rest of the ham and cheese.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered croissant bake, pressing down gently.
Allow it to sit for about 10-15 minutes to soak up the egg mixture.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let it rest for about 5-10 minutes before garnishing.
