8 oz elbow macaroni
1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1 minute until bubbly and golden.
Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth. Continue cooking on medium heat, stirring often, until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Mix in the cheddar, mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Drain the pasta and add to the cheese sauce. Gently fold in the lobster and shrimp.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish (about 9×13 inches). Mix panko breadcrumbs with the remaining Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
