- 8 oz cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Finely chop the cooked shrimp, reserving a few whole pieces for garnish.
- In a medium bowl, blend softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold in chopped shrimp, lemon juice, chives, garlic, and seasonings.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with reserved shrimp and extra chives.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to develop.
