Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake is the perfect combination of garlicky, buttery shrimp and cheesy baked pasta. With a golden, crispy topping and a creamy, lemony sauce, this dish is an easy and crowd-pleasing meal for any occasion!

For the Pasta & Shrimp:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or ziti)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Juice & zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:

  • Boil pasta until al dente, according to package instructions.
  • Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Shrimp:

  • Heat olive oil & butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic & red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt & black pepper, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink.
  • Pour in white wine (or broth), add lemon juice & zest, and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan & parsley, then remove from heat.

3️⃣ Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce:

  • In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until warm (don’t boil).
  • Stir in mozzarella & Parmesan until smooth.

4️⃣ Assemble the Pasta Bake:

  • Mix cooked pasta, shrimp, and cheese sauce in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and melted butter.

5️⃣ Bake & Serve:

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Garnish with extra parsley & lemon wedges.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
