3 to 4 lbs of corned beef brisket (with spice packet)
1 cup of beef broth (low sodium)
1/4 cup of pure maple syrup
1/4 cup of yellow mustard (or Dijon)
3 large carrots, cut into chunks
4 medium potatoes, cut into quarters
1 onion, quartered
2 cloves of garlic, minced
