Description

These slow-cooked spare ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, coated in a rich, smoky barbecue sauce that brings bold flavor with minimal effort. Perfect for a fuss-free dinner or weekend gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 lbs pork spare ribs

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Pat ribs dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion powder.

  • Place ribs in the slow cooker. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top and pour in half the BBQ sauce.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.

  • Brush with remaining BBQ sauce before serving, or broil for 3–5 minutes to caramelize the top.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate ribs in seasoning overnight.

  • Finish on the grill or under the broiler for crispy edges.
