1 jar (about 24 oz) marinara sauce
3 large eggs
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Then, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula and cooking until browned. Drain the excess fat if necessary.
Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and ricotta cheese. Add in the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
