  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Then, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula and cooking until browned. Drain the excess fat if necessary.
  • Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and ricotta cheese. Add in the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
  • Grease a 9-inch pie dish or a large round baking dish. Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in the bottom. Then, layer in the meat sauce mixture, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Top with the remaining spaghetti mixture, and then finish off with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
