1 package (16 oz) of crescent roll dough
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup diced ham, cooked
1 cup shredded cheese, cheddar or Swiss
2 large eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: fresh herbs like parsley or chives, for garnish
Instructions
In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in diced ham and garlic, cooking for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Remove the skillet from heat, let it cool for a minute, then add beaten eggs and shredded cheese. Stir gently until combined.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the package of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it.
On each triangle of dough, place a spoonful of the spinach mixture at the wide end. Roll it from the wide end to the point. Place the rolls on the baking sheet, point side down.
