  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Instructions

  • Cook the Noodles: Start by boiling a large pot of water. Once it’s rolling, add in your egg noodles and cook according to the package directions until they’re al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the hot pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the Flavor: Pour the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes into the pan. Stir to combine and let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Bring It All Together: Add the cooked chicken back into the pan along with the noodles. Toss everything together gently, coating the noodles and chicken evenly with the sauce.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the sliced green onions and sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
