Ingredients
1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream (or 8 oz whipped topping)
2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
3 ripe but firm bananas sliced
1 box vanilla wafers or graham crackers crushed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the pudding mixture.
- In a serving dish, layer half of the crushed vanilla wafers, followed by half of the pudding mixture, and then layer half of the sliced strawberries and bananas.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, ending with fruit on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla extract to the pudding mixture or layer in some crushed nuts.
