Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries
diced
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
8 oz cream cheese
softened
½ cup sour cream
1 cup whipped topping
6 ice cream cones (sugar or waffle)
1 cup Golden OREO cookies
crushed (about 8-10 cookies)
Additional strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the diced strawberries with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar and set aside to macerate.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream and remaining granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- In each ice cream cone, layer the cream cheese mixture, followed by a layer of macerated strawberries, and top with crushed Golden OREO cookies.
- Repeat the layers until the cones are full. Optionally, garnish with additional strawberries.
