1 cup of rolled oats
1 ½ cups of almond milk
1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional toppings: chopped nuts, chia seeds, shredded coconut
In a medium-sized bowl or a large jar, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until mixed.
Slice the fresh strawberries. You can add them to the oats mixture or keep them aside for later.
Fold in the sliced strawberries if you're adding them directly, otherwise set them aside.
Transfer your oats into individual jars or keep in the bowl and seal with a lid.
Refrigerate overnight to let the oats absorb the almond milk.
