  • ¼ cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and chopped rhubarb. Add in the granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Gently toss everything together until the fruit is evenly coated.
  • Allow the fruit mixture to sit for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Roll out the crust and place it in your pie dish.
