Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree (fresh or frozen)
- A few drops of pink food coloring (optional
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3️⃣ In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in the egg, vanilla, and strawberry puree.
4️⃣ Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Add food coloring if desired.
5️⃣ Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and slightly flatten.
6️⃣ Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set. Cool before serving.
