For the Crust:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 3–4 tbsp cold water
For the Filling:
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Topping:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup apricot jam (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, and butter. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, 1 tbsp at a time, until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and press it into a tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Let it cool completely.
- Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the filling evenly over the cooled crust.
- Assemble the Tart:
- Arrange sliced strawberries in a circular pattern on top of the cream cheese filling.
- In a small saucepan, heat the apricot jam and water over low heat until smooth. Brush the glaze over the strawberries.
- Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the tart for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the cream cheese filling.
- Use store-bought pie dough for a quicker preparation.
- You can substitute apricot jam with strawberry or raspberry jam for the glaze.
