1½ cups of granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated sugar until it’s light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
Gradually add your dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
