1/2 cup breadcrumbs

2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 egg
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 ounces pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a large skillet, brown the meatballs in batches over medium heat and set aside.
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain, and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
In a large baking dish, mix together the marinara sauce, beef broth, thyme, sour cream, and the cooked pasta. Fold in the browned meatballs.
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
