Description

🍰 Tiramisu Cheesecake Delight: A Decadent Dessert Recipe

This Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the best elements of traditional tiramisu with the creamy richness of cheesecake. With layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, a smooth mascarpone filling, and a hint of cocoa, this dessert is both elegant and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale

For the crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 6 tbsp melted butter

For the filling:

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 large eggs

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

For the tiramisu layers:

  • 1 ½ cups strong brewed espresso (cooled)

  • 24 ladyfingers

  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)

For the topping:

  • Cocoa powder for dusting

  • Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust:
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 8 minutes, then set aside to cool.

  2. Make the filling:
Beat together cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in heavy cream until well combined.

  3. Soak the ladyfingers:
Dip ladyfingers in cooled espresso (mixed with coffee liqueur if desired) for a few seconds, then arrange a layer over the cooled crust.

  4. Assemble the cheesecake:
Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the soaked ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, then top with the remaining cheesecake filling.

  5. Bake:
Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–50 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool with the oven door slightly ajar for 1 hour. Then chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  6. Topping:
Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate curls or shavings.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, you can add more espresso or coffee liqueur.

  • Make sure to let the cheesecake cool slowly in the oven to prevent cracking.

  • Can be made a day in advance—flavors only improve with time!
