This Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the best elements of traditional tiramisu with the creamy richness of cheesecake. With layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, a smooth mascarpone filling, and a hint of cocoa, this dessert is both elegant and irresistible.
Ingredients
For the crust:
-
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
-
2 tbsp sugar
-
6 tbsp melted butter
For the filling:
-
16 oz cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup mascarpone cheese
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
3 large eggs
-
¼ cup heavy cream
For the tiramisu layers:
-
1 ½ cups strong brewed espresso (cooled)
-
24 ladyfingers
-
2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
For the topping:
-
Cocoa powder for dusting
-
Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the crust:
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 8 minutes, then set aside to cool. -
Make the filling:
Beat together cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in heavy cream until well combined. -
Soak the ladyfingers:
Dip ladyfingers in cooled espresso (mixed with coffee liqueur if desired) for a few seconds, then arrange a layer over the cooled crust. -
Assemble the cheesecake:
Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the soaked ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, then top with the remaining cheesecake filling. -
Bake:
Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–50 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool with the oven door slightly ajar for 1 hour. Then chill for at least 4 hours or overnight. -
Topping:
Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate curls or shavings.
Notes
-
For a stronger coffee flavor, you can add more espresso or coffee liqueur.
-
Make sure to let the cheesecake cool slowly in the oven to prevent cracking.
