Description
This Tiramisu Ice Cream blends the classic flavors of coffee, cocoa, and mascarpone into a rich, creamy frozen dessert. It’s a perfect no-bake treat for coffee lovers and tiramisu fans alike.
Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
1/4 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
1/4 cup crushed ladyfingers or shortbread cookies
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
2. Add mascarpone, espresso, vanilla extract, and coffee liqueur (if using). Mix until smooth.
3. Stir in heavy cream and blend until fully combined.
4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
5. Pour into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. During the last few minutes of churning, add crushed ladyfingers.
7. Transfer to a freezer-safe container, dust cocoa powder on top, and freeze for 4–6 hours or until firm.
8. Scoop and serve with an extra sprinkle of cocoa powder if desired.
Notes
Use decaf espresso if serving to kids.
For extra texture, swirl in chocolate shavings or fudge sauce.
Store tightly sealed for up to 2 weeks in the freezer.
