In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until it becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
Sprinkle in the ground cumin and chili powder, and stir everything together for about 30 seconds.
Toss in the shredded cooked chicken and white beans. Mix them well.
Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring. Scrape the bottom of the pot to release flavorful bits.
Add the diced green chilies and corn, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 15 minutes.
After simmering, stir in the sour cream or Greek yogurt. Adjust thickness by simmering longer if needed.
Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
