Velvety smooth and loaded with garlic flavor, this white pizza sauce is the perfect base for veggie or chicken pizzas, flatbreads, or cheesy breadsticks.
Ingredients

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Pinch of Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (1–2 minutes).

Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.

Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened (about 5 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.

Let cool slightly before spreading on your pizza dough.
