Ingredients
1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
8 slices prosciutto or thin bacon
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wrap 3–4 asparagus spears together with one slice of prosciutto.
3. Place bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir in garlic.
5. Brush garlic butter over each asparagus bundle.
6. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
7. Roast for 15–18 minutes, until prosciutto is crispy.
8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Substitute prosciutto with turkey bacon for a leaner option.
