Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season and sear: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

  2. Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Make sauce: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Finish chicken: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 7–10 minutes, spooning sauce over top.

  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine before the broth.

  • You can swap chicken breasts for boneless thighs.
