1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/4 cup soy sauce (use low sodium for a lighter taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (fresh adds a punch!)

Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish (to make it pretty!)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Place your salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the fridge.

Halfway through cooking, spoon some of the leftover marinade over the salmon.
Salmon is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Once the salmon is beautifully glazed, sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve.
